I did a 2 weeks tour of Peru and the only place where I decided to
splurge was in Arequipa. I upgraded from the standard Casa Andina to the
PC and I sure did the right thing. The Casona was completely restored
and is a sight in itself. Right in the heart of Arequipa, I spend a day
touring the surroundings, and the location is perfect. If you do decide
to splurge this is the right place, as you have amazing suites that are
located in the old building, and superior rooms in the new wing. The
restaurant is ok, but not as great as the hotel. What I most enjoyed was
the patio. Go and enjoy.
