The Inca Trail was an amazing experience. I called it affirming, my husband called it invigorating.

As card carrying senior citizens we were delighted that we were able to complete the trek in the appropriate time frame with the remainder of our group all being 25-35 (the age of our children). The views were astonishing and the experience stellar. Even though I had been riding my bike 20-30 miles a day, the hike was challenging. Preparation is a must, especially for those of us of the older age group.

We all had different aspects of the trek that most impressed us, but we all agreed that the trek was actually better than the experieince of Machu Picchu Ruins!
